Welcome, Class of 2030!

Congratulations on your acceptance to WMed! We look forward to welcoming you to the WMed and Kalamazoo communities. The Office of Admissions will be in touch with you via email throughout the cycle, and this page includes additional information to prepare you to navigate the admissions process and become a WMed student.

WMed Traffic Rules for Accepted Students

Please familiarize yourself with the WMed Traffic Rules for Accepted Students, including utilization of the AMCAS Choose Your Medical School Tool. If you have any questions or want to talk through your plans, we are happy to help anyway we can.

February 19-April 14, 2026	Accepted applicants may select the Plan to Enroll option in AMCAS's Choose Your Medical School Tool. We understand you might be holding other acceptances at this time. By designating your plan early, we have the time to build a class and a community that will become the WMed Class of 2030.
April 15, 2026	Accepted applicants who are holding multiple acceptance offers should narrow their choices to three medical schools. It is a professional courtesy to withdraw from schools you are no longer considering as you find your fit.
April 30, 2026	Accepted applicants must select Plan to Enroll to WMed. Failure to do so may result in your offer of admission being withdrawn. You may remain on other waitlists at this time.
April 30-June 4, 2026	Accepted applicants may select Commit to Enroll to WMed in AMCAS's Choose Your Medical School Tool. This selection indicates to WMed that you are withdrawing your application from consideration at other medical schools and are committing to matriculate at WMed. Selecting 'Commit to Enroll' at another institution may result in your acceptance offer at WMed being withdrawn.
June 5, 2026	Accepted applicants are required to select the Commit to Enroll to WMed. By selecting WMed, you are indicating your final decision to join our Class of 2030 and agree to withdraw all of your remaining applications at other medical schools, including waitlist applications. We will see you on June 29! If 'Commit to Enroll' is not selected by June 5, your acceptance offer may be withdrawn.
June 12, 2026	Pre-Matriculation portal requirements due.
June 29, 2026	Day 1 - Welcome WMed Class of 2030!

To ensure that information reaches you in a timely manner, please update your AMCAS application with any changes in your mailing address, telephone number, and/or email address. WMed’s primary mode of communication with you will be via email. We cannot edit your AMCAS email address; you must contact them directly.
