The medical school makes student achievement data including enrollment, medical licensing exam pass rate, residency program Match rate, retention rate, graduation rate, and post-graduate placement available to enrolled and prospective students in accordance with federal regulations and requirements from the Higher Learning Commission. Data reported does not include visiting students.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree Program

The MD degree program is a 4-year program that includes eight consecutive terms beginning with matriculation in late summer and concluding with graduation in May of the 4th year.

The United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 1 and Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK) are required for graduation. The pass rate from the USLME for WMed first-time test takers compared to the national average is reported.

Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MBS) Degree Program

The MBS degree program is a 1-year program with matriculation in late summer and concluding with graduation the following May. The program is designed specifically for students looking to strengthen their foundational knowledge in basic science before beginning medical school. MBS students are automatically accepted to the MD program for the following year contingent upon successful completion of the MBS program. Class profile information is not reported for class sizes less than 10 to ensure the confidentiality of student personal information is maintained.
