Biosketch

Norman Miller, MD, JD, PLLC, received his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, completed his medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, his internship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, his residency in psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, and his residency in neurology at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. His fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology was through the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He later completed his juris doctorate at the Michigan State University College of Law. He is board certified separately in psychiatry, neurology, addiction psychiatry, and forensic psychiatry. He previously worked as a Professor of Psychiatry at Michigan State University College of Medicine, Associate Professor of Psychiatry at University of Illinois at Chicago, and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Cornell University Medical College. His clinical, teaching, and research interests include addiction psychiatry and psychiatry and the law. Publications include over 200 journal articles and 13 books.
