Laura Bute, MD

Biosketch

Laura Bute, MD, is a psychiatry resident at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. Originally from the Akron, Ohio area, she graduated from the University of Dayton with her Bachelor of Science. Laura went on to complete her medical training with Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine. Being passionate about education, Laura taught the Prematriculation program at her medical school, helping younger students find their footing at the start of their careers. Her interests include reproductive psychiatry, LGBTQ+ population healthcare, and street medicine.
