Biosketch

Mohammad K. Akhras, MD, is a General Surgery Resident at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He is a graduate of St. George's University School of Medicine and received his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a former EMT and worked as a patient care technician prior to medical school. In addition to English, Mohammad has native fluency in Arabic. His interests include medical education, surgical training, and aiding underserved global communities.
