Biosketch

Aamrah Wakil is a resident physician in the Family Medicine- Kalamazoo Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. She earned her MBBS degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Karachi. She completed her internship at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center, Karachi- the largest tertiary care hospital network in the province. She also served as a Medical Officer at a primary care clinic, serving and promoting health literacy in an underprivileged population in her city. Her clinical, teaching, and research interests lie in women's health and lifestyle medicine as well as patient advocacy and promoting health literacy in the general population.
