Biosketch

Jonathan Harris, MD, is a psychiatry resident at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. They received their BA in Biochemistry and Spanish from Indiana University Bloomington and their MD from Indiana University School of Medicine. During medical school, they held leadership positions with the Gold Humanism Honor Society, Hospice and Palliative Medicine Student Interest Group, and Medical Ethics Student Interest Group. Their research focused on social determinants of health, food insecurity, and professionalism in medical education. Their professional interests include psychotherapy, community psychiatry, medical humanities, medical education, and care for underserved populations.
