Sarah Ecenbarger, MD

Biosketch

Sarah Ecenbarger, MD, is an internal medicine resident physician. She is a medical graduate of Central Michigan University College of Medicine. She completed both a BA in vocal music and a BS in biomedical science from Grand Valley State University within the Frederick Meijer Honors College, where she was named a biomedical science graduate of distinction. She completed a research internship at Van Andel Institute and a study abroad in Italy at the Trentino Music Festival. Her clinical, teaching, and research interests include gastroenterology/inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatologic/autoimmune disease, vocal implications of various disease states, and chronic disease populations. She has served as a volunteer for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation since 2020.
