Biosketch

Sameer Ebrahim, MD, is an orthopaedic surgery resident at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree in Global Supply Chain and Operations from the University of South Carolina Columbia and his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. During medical school, he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and served as president of the Orthopaedic Surgery Interest Group. His research interests include orthopaedic trauma with work focused on acetabular fractures, posterior wall spring plating, and tibial plateau fractures. He has also been active in community service, founding mentorship and outreach initiatives focused on supporting underserved students, refugees, and uninsured patients.
