Biosketch

Geetha Naga Sai Susmitha Banda, MBBS, is a resident physician in the Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. She earned her undergraduate medical degree from Government Medical College, Nizamabad, affiliated with Dr KNR University of Health Sciences, India. She has been actively involved in community health initiatives aimed at health education and rural health awareness campaigns throughout her medical training. Her experiences include organising COVID-19 vaccination programs, public health outreach activities such as the “Bleed with Pride” menstrual health awareness initiative alongside the Medical Students Association of India. Her clinical and service interests include health education, community health, preventive medicine and street medicine.
