WMed faculty contributed to the advancement of scientific and medical knowledge through ample research activity in 2025.

Faculty members published nearly 260 peer-reviewed journal articles in 2025, up from 217 articles in 2024, according to Scopus data. Journal articles spanned a variety of medical specialties, including Biomedical Informatics; Biomedical Sciences; Emergency Medicine; Family and Community Medicine; Investigative Medicine; Medicine; Medical Education; Medical Ethics, Humanities, and Law; Pathology; Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine; Psychiatry; and Surgical Sciences.

In total, research activity among WMed faculty in 2025 included:
