Saadia Abbas, MD, is a resident physician in the Pediatrics Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She graduated from the Aga Khan University in Pakistan, where she held several student representative roles. Following graduation, she served as a Teaching Associate for first- and second-year medical students at her alma mater. During this time, she also contributed to developing a guideline framework for managing endocrine disorders in patients with thalassemia major in low-resource settings. Her academic interests include pediatric cardiology, endocrinology, and medical education.
