Biosketch
Hiroyuki Hirakawa, MD, PhD, received his MD and PhD degrees at Tokyo Medical and Dental University in Japan. He currently is a postdoctoral fellow in Lei Ding lab at Columbia University Medical Center, where he is studying hematopoietic stem cell and bone marrow microenvironment. He has been continuously secured funding throughout his training. His research interests include hematology, bone biology, stem cell biology, and regenerative medicine.
