Biosketch
Jacob Nelson, MD, is an Emergency Physician. He graduated the Michigan Medical School at the University of Michigan in 2021 and completed his residency at Corewell Health East - William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. During residency, he served on multiple committees including those for Resident Program Evaluation, Culture of Safety and Trauma Committee. Clinically, he helped develop and implement multiple quality improvement projects, and his research focused on using a biomarker, D-dimer, to rule-out aortic dissection. He is currently employed by Southwest Michigan Emergency Services.
