Layth Lewis, M.D., B.Com., is a Family Medicine resident with a background in healthcare and business. He obtained an Hon. Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of the Americas. Dr. Lewis has made contributions to the medical field through his research on dissociative episodes and the efficacy of MDMA in psychiatric disorders. He has actively participated in teaching as a Biochemistry Teaching Assistant and has been involved in various peer-reviewed journal articles and presentations at the annual American Psychiatric Association meetings. Dr. Lewis's clinical and research interests centre around preventative medicine, psychiatric disorders, and aiding vulnerable populations. He is a member of the American Medical Student Association and the American Psychiatric Association, reflecting his commitment to professional growth and development.
