Leanne Sowunmi, MD, graduated from Ross University School of Medicine after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Windsor. . She is currently an Internal medicine resident at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include making clinical concepts simpler and understanding how background and identity affect medical outcomes in underserved communities.
