Monica Patten, MD, is a general surgery resident. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder and received her undergraduate degree in integrative physiology. She completed her medical education at the University of Colorado School of Medicine before matching into the general surgery residency program at Western Michigan University. In addition to the pursuit of a career in surgery, Monica is passionate about engaging in policy and advocacy work in order to improve the health of her community and the patients she serves.
