Sophia Yen, MD, is a resident physician in the Pediatrics Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During that time, she was involved in various clinical research projects regarding asthma severity at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She went on to receive her medical degree from The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Her clinical, teaching, and research interests include general pediatrics and community outreach.
