Michael Chaney, MD, is a resident physician in the General Surgery Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology as well as a graduate from Chicago Medical School for his medical doctorate. During his time in medical school, he conducted research regarding femoral access closure devices as well as authored multiple case reports. His current interests are vascular and cardiothoracic surgery.
