Biosketch
Ayooluwa Ayoola, MD, is a resident physician in the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, Kalamazoo, Michigan. She received her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Calvin University, previously called Calvin College, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She received her medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. At Wayne State University she participated in several mentoring and tutoring roles. She also worked on research projects focused on patient outcomes following joint replacements. Her research and clinical interests include improving access to healthcare to underserved populations, as well as orthopedic research.
