Biosketch
Veera Pavan Kotaru, MD, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with Ascension Borgess Heart Institute in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He earned his medical degree from Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Moscow, Russia. He completed an internal medicine residency with Michigan State University at their Synergy Medical Education Alliance in Saginaw, Michigan. He also completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship with Michigan State University, this time at Sparrow Health System in Lansing, Michigan. He has also completed an interventional cardiology fellowship with Michigan State University, which was located at Ascension Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Dr. Kotaru's clinical, research, and educational interests include hypertension, cardiac events and cardiovascular inflammation, and cardiovascular ultrasound.
