Biosketch

Anita Buitenwerf, MSN, is an adult nurse practitioner with Bronson Neuroscience Center-Kalamazoo. She is a graduate of Grand Valley State University, Allendale, Michigan, where she received both her Bachelor's and Master's of Science in Nursing. She works as the clinical coordinator for stroke and neurocritical care for Bronson hospitals and is a co-chair of the Neuroscience Quality and Safety Committee. Her clinical and teaching interests include nursing and medical education with a special interest in neurosciences, particularly stroke care.
