Biosketch
Dr. Manish Thakur is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He is employed with the West Michigan Cancer Center. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University - Detroit Medical Center in June 2013. He then completed a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology also at Wayne State University - Karmanos Cancer Center in June 2016. He specializes in the field of Lung Cancer with strong interest in the area of Molecular Therapeutics. His research area has been Population Epidemiology in Lung Cancer. He also has special interest in Prostate Cancer research and has authored peer reviewed papers and review articles in this field.
