Biosketch
Evan McGlinn, MD, is an emergency medicine physician with Southwestern Michigan Emergency Services in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He attended The University of Michigan for his undergraduate education, where he earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in biology. After graduating, Dr. McGlinn worked for two years as a clinical research assistant at the University of Michigan Department of Plastic Surgery. During this time he helped to coordinate and conduct clinical outcomes research. Dr. McGlinn then attended Wayne State University School of Medicine. During his time at Wayne, he was a member of the Robert R. Frank Student Run Free Clinic Executive Board and worked to secure a grant to improve care for diabetic patients at the clinic. He also participated in the Co-curricular program at Wayne State, where he volunteered at a number of programs in the Detroit community. Dr. McGlinn completed his emergency medicine residency program with Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. Dr. McGlinn's clinical interests include medical education, ultrasound, and sports medicine.
