Biosketch
Robert L Osmer, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with Bronson Digestive, Endocrine & General Surgery Specialists in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan, which is also where he completed a residency in general surgery. He was in private practice for 18 years, on MSU/KCMS Faculty from 2004 to 2010, Vice President for Medical Affairs and general surgeon for Shawano Medical Center from 2010-2013. He has spent the past 6 years with Michigan State University Department of Surgery, serving as faculty and residency program director. He has been active in the Navy Reserve since 2016 and was deployed to Navy Installation Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, in 2018. He returned to Kalamazoo in April, 2019, to join Bronson Digestive, Endocrine & General Surgery Specialists.
