Biosketch
Syed Quadri, MD is a general psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is a graduate of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College, located in Bangalore, India. He completed his residency in psychiatry from University of Kansas, Wichita, KS. At KU he participated in teaching medical students in his 3rd and 4th year of training. He continued his passion for teaching while working at Oaklawn Hospital, as an out patient psychiatrist. During his time there he taught 3rd and 4th year medical students from WMed. His position at WMed allows him to expand his interest in teaching, and plans to expand his teaching skills to residents. His areas of interest are in patient psychiatry and out patient psychiatry.
