FM Kzoo accepts applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications are accepted until the end of November each year. Applicants are matched into the program through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

How Do I Apply?
- Applications accepted via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) prior to December of each application cycle
- Required ERAS Materials
- Universal Application
- Passing USMLE and/or COMLEX Step 1 and Step 2 scores
- Medical School Transcript
- Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)/Dean’s Letter
- Personal Statement
- Three Letters of Recommendation
- ECFMG Status Report (if applicable)
What Happens Next?
- Applications holistically reviewed by the FM Kzoo Team
- Initial invitations for all available interview positions sent through ERAS by October 14, 2025
- Applicants are given several days to accept the invitation
- Further rolling invitations sent to fill remaining interview positions
- Interviews are conducted virtually from November through January
- Virtual interviews are intended to provide an equitable opportunity for all to interview
- Optional virtual and in-person second look opportunities following FM Kzoo Rank List Certification will be communicated to all interviewees
