Biosketch
Thomas Akland, DO, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. He is Board Certified Pediatrics. He is employed with Ascension/Borgess Medical Center. He is a graduate of Hope College with a BS in Biology, Religion and Biochemistry (Cum Laude) in 1997. He earned his MD from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. He then completed his Residency in Pediatrics at Michigan State University/Sparrow Health Systems in 2005.
