It includes spending within one's means, being financially prepared, having access to resources to make sound financial decisions, and planning for the future. Actively engaging in a Financial Wellness program will help build a solid financial foundation for long-term goals. The Office of Financial Aid proudly prioritizes Financial Wellness for our students.

The Association of American Medical Colleges, or AAMC, offers a free, online Financial Wellness Program. It provides information about a variety of financial topics to help students, residents, and practicing physicians become more financially savvy. It includes quick online courses, library resources, a personalized portfolio, and you can connect with an AAMC expert.

The WMed Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available for WMed students, residents, and practicing physicians. Financial support services provide consultation with financial professionals to address financial questions surrounding budgeting, debt management, tax issues, and more.
