Biosketch

Lisa Miller, MD, is a board-certified surgeon with the Division of General Surgery of Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In her role as associate professor, she has taken on and become surgical clerkship director for the medical school, as well as being responsible for resident education as part of the General Surgery Residency Program.

Dr. Miller is a graduate of Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota. She earned her medical degree from University of South Dakota Sanborn School of Medicine in Vermillion, South Dakota. She completed a general surgery residency with Michigan State University - Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. After residency, she moved back to South Dakota to work at Yankton Surgical Associates and Lewis and Clark Specialty Hospital in Yankton before coming back to Kalamazoo to work for WMed.
