American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Courses

AHA BLS ACLS Courses
We provide the American Heart Association HeartCode (blended learning) approach to Heartsaver, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) renewal courses.

Are you a training site looking for a training center to join or an organization that would like to create a training site?

WMed is authorized to provide the following disciplines: Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS, PEARS, AND PALS Courses

At WMed, we value your time while emphasizing quality courses. That’s why our courses are blended learning or Heartcode courses. HeartCode is a web-based, self-paced instructional program that uses eSimulation technology to allow you to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings in the comfort of your home followed by an in-person session for skills practice and testing led by our certified instructors.

Open course seats are available monthly. Courses are held in the Simulation Center at the W.E. Upjohn M.D. Campus, 300 Portage Street, in downtown Kalamazoo. If you are interested in attending a course at WMed or would like a copy of the monthly schedule, please contact Judy Wheeler at judy.wheeler@wmed.edu.
