Kayla Flewelling, MD, is a resident physician in the General Surgery Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in research psychology at the University of Michigan-Flint and her medical degree from Central Michigan University College of Medicine. She has published research in several areas, including medical research and research in psychology. She is especially interested in medical education and psychology as it relates to surgical outcomes.
